I have been capturing images of transportation for almost 2 decades and over the years I have also driven buses, trucks and even trains! This has given me a better understanding of these machines, how they work and how they perform. From a photography point of view, it has allowed me to see them from both an industrial and creative way.
I work with a leading bus manufacturing company here in Australia as their Melbourne-based photographer. Over the years we have taken some amazing images across the state for their marketing team and 2019 has seen us travel to some stunning locations.
Recently my photographs were submitted by the bus company to two publications, along with editorials. Low and behold, the November issues of ABC magazine and Coach & Bus magazine have featured my images on the front covers. As a photographer there is nothing more exciting than to see your work published, however seeing it on the cover where hundreds and thousands of other people are seeing the images too – well that’s just a little more special.
